Southside
Southside is a neighborhood in transition for the middle and lower-middle class of Freedom City, seeing both the prosperity of new public works projects as well as emergence of poverty pockets with crack houses, meth dealers, and gang activity that reappears a few blocks away after the police intervene. Additionally, with increased financial means and development comes involvement of the Freedom City mob and other organized crime elements looking to establish a new foothold. The safest and most developed areas of Southside border Freedom College and the Jordan International Airport, though the airport is surrounded by a zone of low-cost housing due to frustrations of living near a busy airport. Freedom College is known to be a “party school” and nearby businesses help create a “college town” atmosphere for both legal (and illegal) interests of the student body.
