Lincoln

Built during the late 1950s, Lincoln is located across the South River and south of Southside. It was originally settled by African-Americans and maintains this demographic to this day - although numerous Hispanic groups now call Lincoln home too. Most of it’s residents work, and live, near the Boardwalk which hosts most of the local shops, restaurants, and venues. Many of the area youth choose to get involved in gangs or criminal activity as a way out of the rampant poverty.
